The Product Coordinator will analyze the effectiveness of Jacaranda’s Health digital products and collect, analyze and interpret Jacaranda Health data to provide data driven insights that will guide design, testing and implementation of different digital products for Jacaranda Health to allow us to provide the best solutions to our mothers and other partners.

Jacaranda Health is implementing a cross-sectoral strategy that seeks to improve maternal and newborn survival by strengthening the health system to effectively respond to maternal and newborn complications and emergencies across 5 counties in Kenya.
Jacaranda is sourcing for a Health Systems Strengthening (HSS) Program Manager to oversee the strategic execution and implementation of HSS activities in the MSD/KQE project (Kisii, Kwale and Makueni) and the SDR project (Kakamega and Nakuru)

Head of Product Management

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products and driving our global product strategy. The purpose of this role is to take the lead in developing and implementing Jacaranda Health’s product strategy and roadmap, identifying opportunities to innovate and drive value for our customers and our teams through product design, and develop the tools and processes necessary to run an effective product department.
Main Responsibilities of the Job
Take lead in defining the Product strategy that fits with organizational needs. Work closely with the Technology team and Program teams to execute on the product strategy.
Develop and prioritize the product roadmap, taking into account market trends, end user and partner feedback, and organizational goals.
Lead the entire product lifecycle, from research and requirements to working with designers and developers, to user testing, to measuring impact and optimizing
Collaborate closely with our Programs, Partnerships, Business Development and Technology teams to transform ideas into clear, functional product features and ensure projects are managed efficiently and features are built to spec.

Location: Subsaharan Africa (Nairobi or Accra preferred)
