Cynthia Kahumbura

Country Director

Cynthia Kahumbura is Country Director at Jacaranda Health, overseeing the PROMPTs and Mentorship Program teams, as well as the local HR, Finance and Communications and Partnerships teams. She brings over 15 years strategic marketing and operational management experience from working in both the public and private sectors. Cynthia joined Jacaranda Health from Asknivi Kenya where she was Kenya Country Lead and successfully managed the local team and executed and led engagement growth by 6-fold within one year. She has previously worked in organizations such as Kenya ICT Authority and Philips Lighting East Africa and holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA. She is also a member of KHF Public Private Partnership Committee and ICT & Mobile Health Committee. Her previous associations included, Head of Marketing for Kenya BPO and Contact Centre Society during 2010 - 2011, Kenya Association of Manufacturers - Sector Services Committee Member 2017, Marketing Society of Kenya and Member and MSK Awards Judge in 2018.
